Lakewood
German craftsmanship applied to the steel-string acoustic guitar.
Founded in 1986 by luthier Martin Seeliger, Lakewood grew out of the ambition to put Germany on the map of great steel-string acoustic guitars. Trained under a master luthier, Seeliger built his workshop in the Gießen area, in Hesse, where the brand has designed its instruments by hand ever since.
Every Lakewood guitar rests on entirely handcrafted work, produced in small batches and extended by a Customshop that offers necks, woods and finishes tailored to the musician's expectations. The range is built around several families (Natural, Deluxe, Premium), allowing the Belgian workshop to guide each customer toward the model whose build, wood and acoustic response match their playing.
