Strings for bowed instruments
Pirastro
More than two centuries of strings for bow-makers.
Founded in 1798 by Giorgio Pirazzi, an Italian luthier settled in Offenbach, the house Pirastro is one of the oldest string makers in the world. It has remained family-owned and continues to produce its entire range in Germany.
From the Eudoxa gut strings to the Evah Pirazzi, Obligato and Tonica synthetics, the Pirastro catalog serves concert soloists as well as conservatory students. We fit and recommend these strings case by case, depending on the instrument and the musician's profile.
