According to the official website of the family firm Guisama, Prudencio Sáez has been handcrafting its guitars since 1963, in its workshop in Torrent, near Valencia, Spain. The site sums up its approach: "Since 1963, Prudencio Sáez has made its guitars by hand. Through their own hands and those of their craftspeople, this tradition continues today."
The workshop describes its production as "100% Made in Spain" and entirely handmade, in the tradition of the Valencian school of guitar-making, with a range running from traditional classical and flamenco models to cutaway and electro-acoustic versions.
