Sandner Dynasty is the name given, since 2003, to the joint venture between the German maker Franz Sandner — founded in 1924 in Schönbach and relocated to Nauheim after the Second World War — and the Taiwanese manufacturer Dynasty Co. Ltd. According to Franz Sandner's official website, "Franz Sandner Co. continues to produce in Germany, but instruments are also being manufactured in China under the name Sandner Dynasty."

The two ranges remain distinct: instruments in the German line carry the Franz Sandner name, while Sandner Dynasty designates the joint venture's Chinese production, aimed at student instruments — violins, violas, cellos and ukuleles.
