Acoustic guitars
Seagull
Canadian folk guitars with solid tops, designed for musicians.
Founded in 1982 by Robert Godin in the village of La Patrie, Quebec, Seagull is the acoustic arm of the Canadian Godin group. The original idea was simple: bring the qualities of handmade guitars, such as solid wood tops and fine finishes, within reach of everyday musicians at an accessible price. To this day, the entire production is still assembled in Canada, in the workshops of the Eastern Townships.
The brand is recognizable by its tapered headstock, which lines up the tuners in a straight extension of the nut for more even string pull and better tuning stability. The pressure-tested solid tops, the quarter-sawn Sitka spruce bracing and wood sourced from sustainably managed forests reflect a constant attention to detail. In the workshop, we value these reliable and easy-to-play instruments to accompany both beginners and experienced guitarists.
